News Update: Introducing WILMA Insights

Sponsored Content provided by The Inside Scoop - Marketing Newsletter, Greater Wilmington Business Journal and WILMA Magazine

Over the last three months, you may have noticed a change in how we use advertisers’ content in WILMA magazine.

We are moving away from our old “advertorial” format to an enhanced product: WILMA Insights. The first WILMA Insights appeared in our January 2015 issue.

Here’s what a WILMA Insights looks like:

The change is in response to suggestions we heard from focus groups about ways to improve the magazine for our readers. The new format also allows us to extend our popular Business Journal Insights product to our clients who advertise in WILMA.

WILMA Insights, like those that run in the Business Journal, allow leaders in our area to share their thoughts and advice – their insights –with an estimated 60,000 WILMA readers each month. In the print edition of WILMA, each Insights runs as a full-page article, with one or more images. The new format gives advertisers more room to tell their stories, with WILMA Insights articles ranging from about 400 to 700 words.

In addition, WILMA Insights also appear on our WILMA website, www.wilmaontheweb.com, for those who purchase a minimum of six WILMA Insights over a six-month or 12-month contract period.

Of course, we realize that not everyone is comfortable writing their own Insights. For a reasonable fee, we can provide a ghostwriter who will interview you or work from your notes to write your WILMA Insights.

To learn more about WILMA Insights, contact your account representative or contact Melissa Pressley at 910-343-8600 ext. 203 or by email at [email protected].
