Marketing Tip: Use Our Editorial Calendars To Target Your Advertising

Sponsored Content provided by The Inside Scoop - Marketing Newsletter, Greater Wilmington Business Journal and WILMA Magazine

At the Business Journal and WILMA, we like to plan ahead. We’ve set our editorial calendars for 2015 to outline which topics we plan to address in the special sections that run in our publications.

But editorial calendars aren’t just for our benefit. You can use the information to make strategic marketing and advertising decisions. Here’s how:

  • Target your advertising message and spending to specific topics covered in our publications. For example, if you have a product or service you want to sell to physicians, consider advertising in one of our special sections on health care.
  • Submit a press release about your business or offer to be a source to be interviewed for one of our special sections.
  • Fill out surveys you receive by email from us for the Business Journal’s “The List” page, which typically run in each print edition. If you’d like your business or organization to be considered for inclusion on  a list, please email us at [email protected].
