New Faces, New Roles At The Business Journal And WILMA

Sponsored Content provided by The Inside Scoop - Marketing Newsletter, Greater Wilmington Business Journal and WILMA Magazine

The last few months have been busy ones here, and that’s not including reporting on breaking news and the launch of our WILMA Women to Watch Leadership Initiative.

But relief has finally arrived. Here is our latest people news.

Leslie Adams has joined our sales team as a senior account executive. She has a wide range of sales experience in the health care, financial services, insurance and pharmaceutical industries. She has been a resident of New Hanover County for five years, so she knows our area well. Leslie will be working on many of the accounts that have been previously managed by Maggi Apel.  You can reach Leslie at [email protected] or 910-343-8600 x214.

Maggi Apel is now in her new role as our director of events. She has spent the past several months organizing our recent events, including the WILMA Dash and the launch party for our leadership initiative, all while continuing to serve on our sales team. You can reach Maggi at [email protected] or at 910-343-8600 x220.

Erin Alderson has brought her talents to our graphic design team, and is now creating many of our print and online ads. You can reach Erin at [email protected] or at 910-343-8600 x213.

Nina Bays, a co-editor of WILMA magazine, is putting her marketing expertise to work in promoting our events, something she has more time to do with Erin on board.

As mentioned last month, Maggi is working with Vicky Janowski, the editor of the Business Journal and co-editor of WILMA, as co-leaders of our Women to Watch Leadership Initiative.
