Vanessa Plisga, a master hair stylist, uses only one place – WILMA magazine – to advertise her services. It’s a strategy that’s paid off for her.
About Vanessa Plisga:
Vanessa Plisga is a master hair designer and custom colorist known for her success in cutting and styling fine hair. When she moved to Wilmington in 2003, she left behind loyal clients in Pennsylvania and had to rebuild her business.
Business Challenge:
I needed to attract clients in Wilmington’s highly competitive and saturated market. I also wanted to maintain a profitable profile while trying to compete with the area’s bargain-priced salons.
How You and WILMA Magazine Addressed the Challenge:
I strive for excellent customer satisfaction with all of my clients by providing quality service. I use top-of-the-line products combined with hair styles that I customize for each client. Each client is different and requires individualized service, be it a style, color or availability of appointment times. I am excellent in all of these areas, and it has led to REFERRALS, REFERRALS, REFERRALS!
Having relocated to Wilmington after leaving a very successful business in Pennsylvania, I looked for a location and advertising venue to let the public know I was here. I have used WILMA exclusively and consistently since 2007.
The Results:
I have matched and maybe exceeded my business in Pennsylvania and have developed loyal clients who I consider to be friends. My husband Tony, who is also my business partner, and I consider ourselves successful!
