Client Profile: Anlyan & Hively Asset Management

Sponsored Content provided by The Inside Scoop - Marketing Newsletter, Greater Wilmington Business Journal and WILMA Magazine

Anlyan & Hively Asset Management wanted a partner to assist them with branding the firm and helping it reach new clients. The firm found a good match with the Business Journal, whose readers share the demographics of the firm’s typical clients.

About Anlyan & Hively Asset Management:

Anlyan & Hively Asset Management LLC is an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm and regulated by the SEC. The firm focuses on clients who have achieved long-term success as well as entrepreneurs, emerging professionals, institutions, foundations and endowments.

Business Challenge:

Bill Anlyan and Jim Hively, the principals of Anlyan & Hively Asset Management, wanted to build and maintain a brand image for the firm. Previously, the firm had relied on word-of-mouth references from satisfied clients to attract new business.

What the GWBJ did to help address challenge:

The principals of the firm worked with Judy Budd, the Business Journal’s associate publisher, to create a banner ad that appeared on the Business Journal’s daily email blasts once a month.

“Judy Budd is extremely bright and creative,” said Bill Anlyan, a managing partner in the firm. “She always has wonderful ideas!”

The Results:

Even a relatively small campaign can provide strong results if it offers a targeted message and is delivered in a way and place that will be well-received by its intended audience.

The partners regularly heard from its clients and others that they liked seeing the banner ads on the Business Journal’s emails.

“We are very pleased with the results of our campaign,” Anlyan said.
