Long Run Marketing and Media has added Carly Johnson as the company’s growth marketing manager.

Johnson has a master’s degree in integrated marketing communication from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and consumer studies from East Carolina University, where she also earned a minor in communication and a certificate in entrepreneurship, according to a news release.

Before joining Long Run Marketing and Media, Johnson served as a business counselor at the Small Business Technology Development Center, “where she worked one-on-one with entrepreneurs to evaluate their digital presence, connect them with resources and build marketing strategies grounded in real market research,” the release stated.

She also worked at Cloth and Design, where she tracked social media movements and insights.

“Where many marketers specialize in either creative execution or data analysis, Carly operates fluently in both. She can craft a compelling story and pull the numbers to prove it’s working,” Long Run founder Jessica Kirst said in the release.
