McKinley Building Corp. recently added Mike Brisson as project manager.

Brisson brings nearly two decades of experience in commercial construction, preconstruction services, design-build project delivery, estimating and project leadership across a diverse range of market sectors, including healthcare, commercial, institutional, educational and industrial facilities, according to a news release.

"Brisson joins McKinley with a proven track record of successfully leading complex construction projects from concept through completion," the release stated. "His experience spans every phase of project delivery – from early planning, budgeting and preconstruction through construction, closeout and occupancy – providing clients with a comprehensive, solutions-oriented approach to project management."

Chad Hodges, president of McKinley Building Corp., stated in the release, “Mike brings a tremendous depth of experience and leadership to our team. His background in both preconstruction and operations, combined with his design-build expertise and strong client relationships, make him an outstanding addition to McKinley as we continue to grow throughout southeastern North Carolina.”

A graduate of Appalachian State University, Brisson earned a bachelor's degree in building science, architectural technology and design, according to the release.

Brisson's experience includes a variety of project delivery methods, including negotiated contracts, construction manager at risk (CMAR), design-build, guaranteed maximum price (GMP) and hard-bid projects, the release stated.
