The Sugg-Owen Private Wealth Group of Wells Fargo Advisors recently welcomed B. Mason Hawfield to its Wilmington office as senior financial advisor and first vice president-investments. 

Hawfield brings more than a decade of financial services experience with UBS. He is a CFP (certified financial planner) and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

“We are excited to welcome Mason to the Sugg-Owen Team in Wilmington, working alongside his colleagues, Evans Lackey, private wealth financial advisor, and Laura Tayloe, financial consultant,” said Sam Sugg, managing director-investments. “As part of our team, we believe he will continue to deliver thoughtful guidance and exceptional service to our clients."

A Wilmington native, Hawfield lives with his wife Allison, their 1-year-old daughter, Annie, and their dog, Polly. He is actively involved with Lower Cape Fear Hospice and serves as lead usher at St. James Church.
