Patient Care Director Named At Dosher

Jill Stenson
Jill Stenson recently accepted the position of patient care director for the Dosher Patient Care Unit.

Stenson has served in the role in an interim capacity since January and brings more than 24 years of nursing leadership experience to the position, according to a news release.

Stenson has a background in critical care, serving as a staff nurse in ED/ICU settings and nursing director of the ICU/cardiac cath lab and GI lab in prior positions.

For the past 12 years, Stenson has served as chief nursing officer for a level 2 trauma center/teaching hospital in northern Pennsylvania and a level 3 trauma designated community hospital in her home state of Wisconsin. 

Lynda Stanley, president and CEO of Dosher, said in the release, “We warmly welcome Ms. Stenson to the clinical team at Dosher and have full confidence that her leadership that will enhance our commitment to outstanding patient care and positive outcomes.”

Stenson is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut, expecting to graduate in fall 2022.
