Sarah Buzzard will join The Humphries Law Firm on Sept. 1.

Buzzard will primarily practice in the areas of residential and commercial real estate transactions, according to a press release from the firm.

She has spent the past 11 years practicing locally in Wilmington, where she focused on real estate transactions and litigation along with bank negotiations, and foreclosures. Buzzard is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Maryland School of Law.

Buzzard is also on the Board of Directors for the Cape Fear Community College Foundation, Wilmington Health Access for Teens and the Cape Fear Guardian ad Litem Association.
