Wilmington-based Landmark Sotheby's International Realty recently announced the firm has reached an agreement to merge with Buy the Beach Realty of Kitty Hawk.

The merger expands Landmark Sotheby's footprint in North Carolina's Outer Banks, according to a news release. The founder and owner of Buy the Beach Realty, Kelly Dean, along with agents Tamara Forshaw and Michelle Donohue, will be joining the firm and work out of the company’s Duck office, the release stated

Landmark Sotheby’s International Realty, which specializes in representing the sale of luxury, waterfront and lifestyle properties throughout coastal North Carolina, opened an Outer Banks office at the end of last year.

“Kelly Dean and her team have a reputation of providing elite customer service to their clients over their years in the Outer Banks and make an excellent addition to Landmark Sotheby’s International Realty’s mission of delivering the highest quality of service and results that exceed the expectations of a discerning clientele in every transaction,” said Daniel Malechuk, CEO of Landmark Sotheby’s, in the release.

Dean said in the release,  “We look forward to taking our business to the next level" by offering clients Sotheby's International Realty’s marketing tools and resources, along with its global reach and exposure for listings.
