Katherine Louise Becker Freeman, a pediatric gastroenterologist, has joined Coastal Children's Services (CSS) as its new practicing physician, according to a news release. She comes to CSS with more than 25 years’ experience in treating pediatric digestive disorders, and will treat patients of all ages for ailments simple and complex, the release stated.
“I am very excited to be joining CCS. Coastal Carolina is growing and there is a great need for Pediatric Gastroenterology in the region,” Freeman said in the release.
Freeman earned her bachelor's degree from Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C. and her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She is board-certified through the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition.
