Doctor Joins NHRMC Physician Group

Dr. Roc McCarthy recently joined the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Physician Group and is welcoming patients to his practice, Urology Comprehensive Services-NHRMC Physician Group.

McCarthy is a board-certified urologist. Hospital officials said he offers the latest in minimally invasive procedures, including advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures.

Urology Comprehensive Services is located at 2512 Delaney Ave., Wilmington, and offers treatments for many common urologic conditions. They include kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, enlarged prostate; and bladder, kidney and prostate cancers.

Later this year, McCarthy will begin accepting patients at his office in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Health & Diagnostics-Brunswick Forest location, 1333 South Dickinson Drive, in Leland.

McCarthy will also have appointments available beginning Nov. 11 at Pender Memorial Hospital, 507 East Fremont St., Burgaw.
