Janowski Tapped As Alliance Of Area Business Publishers Board President

Greater Wilmington Business Journal editor Vicky Janowski recently took the helm as president of the Alliance of Area Business Publishers Board of Directors.

Founded in 1979, AABP brings together city and regional business magazines and tabloids throughout North America and represents more than 50 publications, including the Greater Wilmington Business Journal. As president of the board, Janowski will oversee the direction of the organization during a yearlong presidency.

In addition to serving as Business Journal editor for 14 years, Janowski is also the editor of WILMA magazine and director of the WILMA Leadership initiative.

Previously, she was a local news editor and healthcare reporter at the Wilmington StarNews. Before moving to Wilmington, Janowski worked as an editor and reporter at The Augusta Chronicle, Columbia County News-Times and Morris News Service in Atlanta.
