Century 21 Vanguard Adds Three To Team

By Staff Reports, posted May 7, 2024
Wilmington-based Century 21 Vanguard recently welcomed three additions to its office – Savannah Maloch, Jeanna Mendez and Kelsea Vanek.

Maloch (pictured below at right), who will specialize in residential property sales in New Hanover County, completed training and licensing as required by the N.C. Real Estate Commission and "continues to strengthen her business through ongoing education with Cape Fear Realtors as well as the Century 21 University," according to a news release.

"We believe training supports growth and professional excellence in the real estate industry. Performance-based training is necessary to assure that Century 21 associates maintain their competitive edge and offer the best service possible to their clients." stated Wendy Knott, broker in charge of Century 21 Vanguard, in the release.

Mendez (pictured below at left) will specialize in residential and land sales in New Hanover and Pender counties.

"I have lived in the Wilmington area for the past 30 years, both in New Hanover County as well as Brunswick County. My family moved here from upstate New York after my parents decided no more snow, no more shoveling driveways and no more long cold winters.

"I have adapted to the warm beach life here, and know a vast amount of this area along with things to do and amazing places," Mendez said.

Mendez said she has also studied interior design and has "an absolute admiration for each home’s uniqueness and character. I have previously owned businesses that help hosts with their short-term rentals here locally, including maintaining, staging and taking care of their properties.

"For those looking for income-producing properties, I can help with this as well."

Vanek (pictured at right) specializes in residential, second home and land sales.

"My journey in the real estate industry has been fueled by a genuine love for the Wilmington community and its unique charm," Vanek stated in the release. "I have witnessed the city's growth and transformation, allowing me to provide valuable insights into its diverse neighborhoods, market trends and hidden gems."
