Financial planning firm CG Financial Services opened a permanent office location in Wilmington and announced the hiring of Josiah Whitten as managing advisor.

The new office is in the Mayfaire area at 219 Station Road, Suite 201.

“Our firm was looking for a space that would accommodate our growing practice. We were lucky to find such a convenient location for our clients and a space that we can grow into long-term," CG Financial Services officials stated in a new release.

With an existing office in Charlotte, the acquisition of Pinehurst Capital in 2021 was a key step forward in the CG Financial Services’ long-term growth plans in North Carolina, the release stated. Pinehurst Capital founder Grant Perry (pictured at right) and Whitten were added to the team.

CG Financial Services "provides adaptive financial planning for individuals and businesses that goes beyond traditional financial planning to organize clients’ financial lives and builds a plan that helps them achieve their changing goals," according to the release.

With other offices in Richmond, Virginia, and five offices in Michigan, the CG team is comprised "of the collective wisdom, expertise and knowledge of over 20 years in the financial industry."
