Mason Hawfield, a financial adviser with Wilmington Wealth Consulting at UBS, has received his Certified Financial Planner designation, according to a news release.

Hawfield has been with the company for four years and earned this designation after hours of study over 18 months, officials said.

As part of the Wilmington Wealth Consulting team at UBS, Hawfield focuses on community relations, events and business development.
 
He earned a bachelor's degree in management and society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
