Restaurant Week Offers Deals On Variety Of Cuisine

Cape Fear foodies are being courted this week as the Wilmington entertainment periodical Encore kicks off its third Encore Restaurant Week on Wednesday.

The biannual event — where restaurant patrons are encouraged to request a special restaurant week menu from more than 40 participating restaurants — runs through October 26, according to a news release.

Some of the local participating eateries include Caffe Phoenix, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Elijah’s. The event also features new participating restaurants from the Swansboro and Pleasure Island areas.
