Dental Specialist Leases Space In Medical District

By J. Elias O'Neal, posted Nov 8, 2013

An endodontist whose building was severely damaged during a late September fire, has relocated his practice into medical office space near New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Chris Ward, whose practice was located at 6329 Oleander Drive before the fire, said Thursday his firm has inked a one-year lease to occupy 1,800 square feet of office space at 1117 Medical Center Drive.

Once the lease expires, Ward said, he will examine whether to stay or move.

Ward’s firm specializes in root canal procedures. He said he hopes to open his new space to existing and new clients by Nov. 18.

Mike Brown, a broker who also oversees development services for Wilmington-based Cape Fear Commercial, recently completed the lease transaction for an undisclosed amount.
