Coastal Pulmonary Joins NHRMC Physician Group

New Hanover Regional Medical Center recently welcomed Coastal Pulmonary Medicine to the NHRMC Physician Group.
 
The doctors of Coastal Pulmonary Medicine-NHRMC Physician Group have nearly 50 years of combined experience in pulmonary care, critical care and sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment.
 
The practice, founded in 1999, includes physicians W. Giles Allen, Brian J. Gilmore, Brian M. Legere, Christian B. Lloyd, Carter J.H. Childs, Marilynn Prince-Fiocco, Nasar Ahmad Siddiqi and physician assistant Antoinette Izzo.
 
“We are excited to join the NHRMC Physician Group, where our patients will continue to receive dedicated, compassionate and state-of-the-art care, with the added benefits of New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s expansive resources,” Gilmore said in a news release.
 
Coastal Pulmonary Medicine offers specialized pulmonary specialty services including asthma, allergic lung disease, COPD, lung cancer, pulmonary disease and sleep apnea. It also encompasses Sleep Care of Wilmington, an accredited sleep center in which board-certified sleep medicine physicians diagnose and treat sleep-related conditions.
 
“The addition of the experienced and highly-skilled team at Coastal Pulmonary Medicine illustrates our commitment to bringing a wide range of services to our patients and ensuring that all health needs are met in our community,” Daniel Goodwin, vice president of the NHRMC Physician Group, said in the news release.
 
Coastal Pulmonary Medicine-NHRMC Physician Group is located at 1090 Medical Center Drive. Sleep Care of Wilmington has a second location at 330 Military Cutoff Road, Unit B1. All Sleep Care of Wilmington appointments require a physician referral.
