Joanne Ceres
Cape Fear Community College has named its new vice president of student services and enrollment management.

Joanne Ceres brings 25 years of higher education administrative and leadership experience to CFCC, according to a news release. A New Jersey native, she holds a master's degree in human services administration from Rider University.

Ceres formerly served as interim vice president of student development services and dean of enrollment management and student services at Pitt Community College in Winterville, officials said.

By drawing from her experience in working with students at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey, and, most recently, Pitt Community College, she brings with her "a familiarity and understanding of the North Carolina Community College experience and an appreciation of front-line interaction," college officials said in the release.

Ceres said that she is "looking forward to adding to the positive culture at CFCC by using my team-building experience and skills to bring a student-centered customer service management style to the college.”
