Plantation Village Hires Root

Plantation Village Retirement Community recently added a new sales counselor to its staff.
 
Brian Root has been a resident of Wilmington for the past 17 years and earned his Associate of Arts degree from Cape Fear Community College, according to a news release. He was previously a sales supervisor at CastleBranch Corp.
 
Root has experience offering screening, background checks and drug testing solutions to businesses around the country. He also founded and operated a coffee and smoothie franchise from 2002-07, the release stated.
 
“I am honored to represent such a reputable community like Plantation Village,” Root said in the release. “I have always enjoyed meeting people and this position enables me to help our new residents transition into an active lifestyle and fulfilling retirement.”
 
At Plantation Village, Root will be responsible for residential sales, identifying and communicating with prospects and representing the community during the entire sales process from inquiry to move in.
