Trolley Pub Wilmington has partnered with Hell’s Kitchen to present Brunch and Wheels, a weekly brunch and trolley pub tour.
 
Jeff Creed, general manager of Trolley Pub Wilmington, said he came up with the idea to partner with Hell’s Kitchen after seeing a WECT news segment on the passage of the Brunch Bill in which Hell’s Kitchen was featured.

“When Jeff reached out to us, we felt it was a great fit for both businesses,” said Hell’s Kitchen general manager Drew Flynn.
 
Two tours are offered each Sunday, one starting at 11 a.m. followed by another at 1 p.m. A $35 ticket includes any brunch item on the Hell’s Kitchen menu, one drink ticket good for a bloody Mary, mimosa or draft beer, and a one-and-a-half-hour trolley pub tour.
 
Flynn suggests that guests on the 11 a.m. tour arrive at 10 a.m. for brunch because the trolley departs at 11. Those on the 1 p.m. tour should arrive by noon, because brunch service ends at 1 p.m.
 
Flynn said Hell’s Kitchen is considering keeping its Bloody Mary bar open past 1 p.m. for afternoon football games, but that will be based upon customer feedback.
 
While many might be settling in for football starting at 1 p.m., Creed and Flynn both say the 1 p.m. tour might be popular with people who aren’t necessarily as interested in watching the games but still want to enjoy an afternoon with friends.
 
Now in its second season, Trolley Pub Wilmington’s sales are up 25 to 30 percent, Creed said, and Saturday tours have been sold out for five consecutive weeks. He is projecting a second trolley to be ordered in the coming months to meet the growing number of passengers.
