Wynyard Group, a provider of crime-fighting software, has appointed Wilmington resident Thomas Tilley as sales director to lead the company’s expansion into the financial services sector on the East Coast.

Prior to joining the Wynyard Group, Tilley was director of U.S. sales for cyber fraud and risk management for Bottomline Technologies in Wilmington. He was director of business development for Intellinx Software before that. In his early career, he spent a total of 14 years as a regional sales manager for two software companies.

Arlington, Virginia-based Wynyard Group solves crime, security and big data problems by “bringing together tradecraft and advanced analytics on one big data platform,” the release stated. Wynyard serves the government security, justice, law enforcement, financial services and national critical infrastructure sectors.

Wynyard partners with major systems integrators and some of the world’s leading software companies and has operations in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
