Ahna Hendrix
CEO of Anahata Swimwear/CEO of ARCH Digital Agency

Technology is ubiquitous for Ahna Hendrix, who both runs a full-service social media marketing agency and a custom-designed swimsuit line called Anahata Swimwear that launched in January.

When asked about ways she uses tech in her daily life, she says “It might be easier to describe ways in which technology is NOT utilized in my life! It’s involved in almost everything.”

Checks out the media outlets BBC, The Business of Fashion, Al-Jazeera and Total Retail Report.

Listens to Joyce Meyer’s podcast during the week while getting ready for work. But that’s the only podcast consistently playing. “I’m a visual/ kinsthetic learner, so podcasts are tough.”

Book recommendations: Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh; The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale (“killer classic”); Create or Hate by Dan Norris; Inside the Middle East by Avi Melamed (“fascinating”); The Top Five Regrets of the Dying by Bronnie Ware (“although the summarized version is enough”); and The Lean Startup by Eric Ries.

Most-used apps are Slack, WhatsApp, Instagram, SnapPen, TimeBuddy and Moonlight.

For digital device recommendations: “I’m a Mac girl 100 percent. I like it simple and reliable, and we speak the same language.”

Since Anahata Swimwear’s launch, she’s cut back on social media to just Facebook and Instagram, but posts through: @ahnahendrix or @anahatasw
