Mayfaire Announces Opening Date Of Loft Store

By Cece Nunn, posted May 14, 2019

Women's clothing store and national chain Loft is scheduled to celebrate its grand opening at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mayfaire Town Center, shopping center officials said Tuesday.

Loft will begin welcoming customers this weekend in the spot formerly occupied by another clothing retailer, Eddie Bauer, which closed in January.

Loft is owned by Ascena Retail Group Inc., an American retailer of women’s clothing that also owns other brands with storefronts at Mayfaire Town Center, including Justice, Lane Bryant and Ann Taylor.

The new Mayfaire store "is the lower-priced, more casual side to Ann Taylor," stated an announcement from Mayfaire Town Center.

Kurt Bohlmann, general manager of Mayfaire, said in the news release, “We are very excited to welcome Loft to our group of Ascena retailers at Mayfaire Town Center. We know shoppers will love their stylish selections."

The 5,500-square-foot Loft store is at 6819 Main St. and is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

"Customers will receive $25 off their full-price purchase of $75 or more on opening day, in-store only," the Mayfaire announcement stated. "This offer excludes Lou & Grey and is not combinable with any other offers."
