Ceviche’s will celebrate its third anniversary Sept. 27 with a customer appreciation night from 4-6 p.m. The event will include tastings of fall menu items as well as new wines and sangria.
“We want to say thank you to Wilmington for all the support, which has allowed us to grow,” said co-owner Laura Tiblier.
Hunter and Laura Tiblier welcomed chef Kirsten Mitchell to the position of executive chef over the summer. Mitchell, formerly of Grand Cru Food & Wine, is putting the finishing touches on her fall menu, switching out some summer produce for seasonal fall items such as pumpkin, squash and sweet potatoes.
“Kristen is a perfect fit for our cuisine,” Laura Tiblier said. “She grew up visiting The Bahamas and a lot of her dishes are inspired by the flavors of the Caribbean.”
Tiblier said that while Mitchell will be making some seasonal changes and tweaking some of the dishes to reflect her own personal style, the majority of the menu will remain the same.
The Tibliers also recently finished the renovation of the restaurant’s back patio, which can now seat 14 at tables for two and four. The covered patio is a full of lush greenery and Panamanian artwork, giving it an upscale yet casual appearance. Reservations for parties of two or four can now be made for the patio, while reservations for inside seating require a minimum of six per party.
Ceviche’s is located at 7210 Wrightsville Ave. and is open for dinner 5-10 p.m. Monday – Saturday and for lunch 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
