Local Real Estate Firm Expands

A Wilmington-based residential real estate firm has ventured outside the Cape Fear region to add a new office.

Officials with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolina Premier Properties recently announced that the firm acquired Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hometown, Realtors, a real estate company based in Jacksonville. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

According to a news release, the Jacksonville firm established in 1995 "has had a long history of success ... in the Jacksonville area where they have specialized in residential real estate, led by Christina Wright." 
 
“The merging of these companies means a superior level of service for area real estate buyers and sellers,” said Jeff Sweyer, owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolina Premier Properties. “Our company, locally owned and operated since 1987, exemplifies the reputation of Berkshire Hathaway – trust, integrity, stability and longevity. Our team is committed to quality customer service above all else.”
 
With the Jacksonville office addition, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolina Premier Properties has 7 locations across Southeastern North Carolina, with other offices in Wilmington, Hampstead, downtown Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Holden Beach and Oak Island.

Accoding to the release, the Jacksonville office will continue to be located at 3466 Henderson Drive.
