By Cece Nunn, posted Nov 13, 2019

Coldwell Banker Advantage, the company that includes Wilmington-based Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, is expanding again, this time into the Triad region of North Carolina, according to an announcement Wednesday.

Coldwell Banker Advantage has joined forces with Coldwell Banker Triad, Realtors, expanding the reach of the Advantage family of companies into the Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point markets, a news release stated.

The change means an additional five offices and more than 200 more agents will now be doing business as Coldwell Banker Advantage.

Coldwell Banker Triad, Realtors owner Beverly Godfrey will remain in a leadership role, joining Coldwell Banker Advantage CEO Gary Rabon.

Coldwell Banker Advantage, founded in 1987 and headquartered in Raleigh, is part of the Coldwell Banker Advantage family of companies and is the top Coldwell Banker franchise in the Carolinas and the second largest in the brand with $3.7 billion in sales volume in 2018.

In addition to Sea Coast Advantage, the combined group also includes Coldwell Banker Chicora Advantage (Myrtle Beach, South Carolina), Coldwell Banker Advantage (Fayetteville) and Coldwell Banker Willis-Smith (New Bern). There are more than 1,600 agents affiliated with the firms.

“Coldwell Banker Triad, Realtors is a very successful company with a great reputation,” said Tim Milam, president of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, in the release. “Expanding the Advantage family of companies into those new markets will provide additional networks and resources that will benefit both our agents and our clients.”
