Accounting Firm Expands At Howe Creek Landing

By Cece Nunn, posted Aug 29, 2014
An accounting firm has expanded its office in Howe Creek Landing, a commercial office complex on Military Cutoff Road near Mayfaire Town Center.

The firm, Earney & Company, will use an additional 1,600 square feet of space across the hall from its current offices at 710 Military Cutoff Road for employees who focus exclusively on financial statement audits, the firm said in a news release.

"Auditing has always been a major focus of our firm and in addition to providing needed space, we believe the new office arrangement will allow our audit team to communicate more effectively with each other and with our clients," said Chuck Earney, CPA managing partner of Earney & Company, in the release.

The firm includes 10 CPAs and nine full-time staff members.

Wilmington Dermatology Center, another Howe Creek Landing occupant, announced plans earlier this month to expand by 4,000 square feet using adjacent space previously occupied by a marketing firm. That expansion will make room for physician assistants slated to start in September.
