Jane Morrow is the Executive Director of Smart Start of New Hanover County, a local nonprofit meeting the needs of children in their first 2000 days. Her 30-year career in the nonprofit sector has been to surround children and families with connections, support, and resources because brain science teaches that we have both the opportunity and the mandate to build communities that support children’s flourishing.

Jane grew up overseas and in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. She earned her undergraduate degree from William and Mary and her Masters and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
