NICHOLAS GREEN

TITLE: Clinic Administrator
ORGANIZATION: Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical  Clinics at the Coast

WHAT A NOMINATOR SAID: “Nick has helped to stand up two community-based clinics in the most underserved areas of Wilmington. He has split his team between the functions of managing a clinic and serving as liaison between the patients we serve and the resources available to them to improve health equity.

“He takes the time to help patients overcome their barriers to care, whether it be helping them complete financial applications or connecting them with services. He often spends his free time volunteering in the community he serves and inspires his team to do the same.

“He represents Novant positively and consistently at healthcare events held in town, constantly looking for opportunities to give back. He applied for and was awarded a grant in 2025 to help him fulfill the mission of providing high-quality care.

“Nick is a mentor to his employees and his colleagues, challenging them to give back at every opportunity. He’s been a friend and an inspiration.”

– Alana McKeever, clinic administrator

“In her roles as Food Rx Program Manager and Mobile Market Manager at Feast Down East, she designed, launched and has implemented the Food Rx program in partnership with Novant Health. This program has reached patients at Coastal Family Medicine, Rocky Point Urgent Care, Coastal OBGYN, Zimmer Cancer Center and Black River Health Services since October 2023.
