Assertive Professionals LLC, a veteran-owned firm, recently announced in a news release that the Missile Defense Agency has awarded the company a more than $127 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.
Under the five-year contract, which runs from December 2024 to December 2029, Assertive Professionals "will provide critical support services, including general administrative support; specialized correspondence management; staff action and executive administrative support; missile defense system operations support; and protocol and communication support," the release stated.
According to the release, the work will be conducted at "key locations" that include Huntsville, Alabama; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Dahlgren, Virginia; Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; and Fort Greely, Alaska.
"This award underscores Assertive Professionals' unwavering commitment to supporting the Department of Defense and national security missions. We are honored to serve the MDA and proud to bring our expertise and cleared professionals to this work," stated Tiffany Shaffery, founder and CEO of Assertive Professionals, in the release.
The Missile Defense Agency "is a research, development, and acquisition agency that works on ballistic missile defense systems for the United States and its allies," according to USA.gov.
The release stated that Assertive Professionals is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) that has been a partner to the Department of Defense, intelligence community and Homeland Security since 2015.
