Kristi Fisher is the new design coordinator for the Trusst Builder Group, a residential builder and developer in New Hanover and Brunswick counties, according to a release from the company.

In her new position, Fisher assists homeowners with design selections for their new home, from flooring and wallpaper to tile, lighting, hardware and fixtures. Fisher also oversees all aspects of Trusst Builder Group’s new Design Center at its 2,500-square-foot office at 481 Olde Waterford Way in Leland.

“Kristi has extensive experience in interior design, fashion and luxury goods, which makes her uniquely qualified to help our homebuyers create the home of their dreams,” Shawn Horton, president of Trusst Builder Group, said in the release. “She has been instrumental in the design and layout of our new Design Center to ensure it makes the entire selection process easy and enjoyable.”

Prior to joining Trusst Builder Group, Fisher worked as a buyer at Reeds Jewelers; a marketing specialist and interior designer at McKenzie Baker Interiors of Wilmington; and an account services analyst for Ralph Lauren in Greensboro, the release stated. She is a graduate of University of North Carolina-Greensboro with a degree in textile products merchandising and marketing.

Since 1992, Trusst has built more than 2,000 homes in the Cape Fear area and the majority of homes in Brunswick Forest.
