BIZTALK: Where Does The Economy Go From Here?

The coronavirus pandemic has the world talking about masks and flattening curves but other major questions include just how much of a hit the economy will take and when we'll know how bad it's going to be.

Recession? Depression? What's the framework for moving forward if social distancing, stay-at-home orders and other guidelines can be eased any time soon?

On Thursday's BizTalk, Adam Jones, regional economist with the University of North Carolina Wilmington's Swain Center, provided some answers along with insight into the short- and long-term impacts on the economy resulting from the abrupt disruption of the area’s business activity.
