Beach Bagels Launches New Menu With Added Features

Beach Bagels has launched a new lunch menu at all of its locations, featuring both hot and cold sub sandwiches in addition to its classic bagel sandwiches.

“More and more people are jumping on the breakfast bandwagon these days, with many serving it all day,” said Beach Bagels owner Tony Di Norcia. “So it’s a good time to ramp up our lunch offerings.”

All sandwiches are prepared with Boar’s Head meats and cheeses and Di Norcia is making use of the shop's existing ovens, normally used for baking bagels, to bake sub rolls.

“We launched the new menu two weeks ago and we’ve received a lot of positive feedback from our customers," Di Norcia said.

The new sub menu includes three types of Philly Cheesesteaks: a traditional, the Lumberjack with steak, eggs, American cheese, onions and hash browns, and the Bless Your Heart with steak, bacon, onions and pimento cheese.

There are two Cubano sandwiches: the Cubano di Miami with mojo pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard, and the Cubano di Tampa, which includes everything on the Miami, with the addition of Genoa salami.

And there are two Italian sandwiches, one hot and one cold: the Mambo Italiano with mojo pork, Boar’s Head Cappy ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, Provolone cheese and hot banana peppers, and the Little Italy (pictured at right) with Boar’s Head Cappy ham, Genoa salami, pepperoni, Provolone cheese, hot banana peppers, lettuce, tomato and onion with a house-made vinaigrette.

The sub menu also includes the All American with turkey, ham and roast beef, lettuce, tomato and onion, dressed with a sauce modeled after Alabama white barbecue sauce.

“That sauce is amazing,” Di Norcia said. “I think it would taste good on pretty much any of our sandwiches.”

While the sandwiches above are all prepared on sub rolls, several others on the menu can be prepared on a bagel or roll, with pricing for each, being that the bagel sandwiches are slightly smaller.

Di Norcia also emphasized that some of the shop’s best sellers such as the Annie will remain on the menu, as well as the vegetarian and vegan options.

Beach Bagels is currently offering coupons for lunch items with the purchase of any breakfast, and giving double loyalty points on lunch sandwiches.

While Beach Bagels is not currently open for dine-in service, customers can place orders over the phone or online, and delivery is available via DoorDash.
