Haarer, Postel Join Fonville Morisey Barefoot

By Staff Reports, posted Oct 8, 2024
Fonville Morisey Barefoot (FMB), a new home sales and marketing company, has expanded its team on the North Carolina coast with the addition of Hope Haarer and Kathleen Postel as new home sales associates.

Haarer (pictured at right) rejoins FMB as an on-site sales associate at Winding Marsh, a luxury community with creek views and private access to adjacent marshlands, according to a news release. Haarer, who has eight years of experience in new homes sales and general brokerage, will sell homesites and homes built by custom builder Coastal Cypress Building Company, the release stated.

“Winding Marsh is in the heart of Wilmington yet is so private and quiet. It’s hard to find such an asset in the midst of a town setting,” Haarer, who has sold more than $100 million in residential real estate during her career, stated in the release.

Postel (pictured at left), a nine-year veteran of FMB with 12 years in the real estate industry, joins as an on-site sales associate at East and Mason, a master planned community within the historic Masonboro Sound District that is in close proximity to Masonboro Island Estuarine Reserve.

According to the release, Postel will sell homesites and new homes within the community’s four collections: Villas on the Loop townhomes, Mason Walk alley-fed single family homes, Westport single family homes and luxury custom Sound Side Residences.

Postel stated in the release that 41 homesites remain available within East and Mason, priced in the $500,000s and up, built by Robuck Homes, Richard Wallace Builder, Schmidt Custom Builders and Vahue Custom Homes.

“East and Mason is just 15 minutes to both Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach with top-rated schools,” stated Postel, who has sold $84 million in residential real estate since joining FMB, in the release.
