The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce recently announced its new board chair, a new treasurer and four new members of the Board of Directors for 2023.
The board elected Stephanie Lanier of Lanier Property Group, part of Intracoastal Realty Corp., as the 2023 board chair. Lanier joined the board in 2017.
Lanier said in the release, “As I reflect on my experience as a board member over the past six years, I am proud of all our progress. I’m excited to embrace the opportunities and potential that the future holds for us in 2023. I look forward to working with our board members, community leaders, and investors to create a thriving, prosperous, and vibrant community for all.”
Neal Andrew, president of Andrew Consulting Engineers, will now serve as the board’s immediate past chair.
Nicolas Montoya, general manager of the Blockade Runner, has joined the executive committee as treasurer of the board.
"As a local hospitality industry leader, Montoya has had the unique opportunity to shape the experiences of many area visitors and contribute to the overall vibrancy of our tourism sector," the release stated.
