TD Bank Names Regional Vice President, Relationship Manager

Scott Sharp
TD Bank recently named Scott Sharp as regional vice president for its Carolinas Coastal market, a region that spans from Hilton Head, South Carolina, to Wilmington, and Ryan Spagnolo as relationship manager, serving the North Coast market.

Sharp is responsible for managing a team of commercial and small business bankers to expand TD’s market share and continue building the bank's brand of service with customers and the community, according to a news release.

Sharp assumes leadership of the North Coast Market after a recent combination with the South Coast Market, where he served as regional vice president. He joined TD Bank in 2009 and has served in a variety of commercial banking roles within the organization.

Previously, Sharp held regional leadership roles at Regions, Woodlands Bank and The Industrial Bank of Japan (IBJ). He also was in education for six years as a mathematics teacher and lacrosse coach at Hilton Head High School and Bluffton High School.

“Scott’s leadership has helped TD Bank expand across the Carolinas, enabling us to become true partners with our customers and the communities we serve,” said David Lominack, South Carolina market president for TD Bank. “His commitment to our customers and his diverse experience in banking, education and community advocacy makes him a tremendous asset to the Coastal Market in this expanded role.”

Outside of work, Sharp gives back to the community by serving on the Executive Board and as Treasurer for Tri County Cradle to Career. He also serves on the boards of directors for the Metro Charleston YMCA and Charleston Regional Development Alliance..

Sharp earned his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York and received his master's degree in education from Converse College.

As a relationship manager, Spagnolo (pictured below) is responsible for enhancing existing small business client relationships by providing financial solutions, expertise and proactive advice, as well as developing new relationships focused on TD Bank’s legendary client service methods.

Spagnolo has more than 10 years of experience in financial services sales and management. Prior to joining TD Bank, he held positions with JPMorgan Chase Bank, Santander Bank, M&T Bank and Citizens Bank.

“Ryan brings vast experience and innovative ideas that will greatly enhance our TD Bank team in the North Coast,” Sharp said a release. “We are confident in his ability to advise our small business banking clients while also using his talent to identify new business opportunities, both aimed at cultivating lasting client relationships. We look forward to his leadership and impact within TD Bank and the community.”

Spagnolo earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown, New Jersey, and has completed Omega Commercial Lending Training for Small Business.
