Proclaim Interactive, a full-service web design and digital marketing agency in Wilmington, recently earned several awards for marketing excellence from the Carolinas Healthcare and Public Relations Society (CHPRMS) and the Strategic eHealthcare Leadership Awards, the agency announced in a news release from its president and creative director Spence Hackney.

The agency received a Gold Wallie Award and a Silver Wallie Award from CHPRMS, which represents health care marketing and public relations professionals of North and South Carolina. The gold award for interactive websites and the silver award for Facebook pages recognized Proclaim Interactive’s work with Raleigh Medical Group, according to the release. Wallie Awards are given annually to recognize excellence in health care public relations and marketing.

The Raleigh Medical Group website also won a Gold Award for best site design from the Strategic eHealthcare Leadership Awards, the release continued. That organization’s awards program recognizes the best websites and digital communications of health care organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical/medical equipment firms and suppliers. There were more than 1,000 entries from a variety of health care organizations, officials said.

"We are very fortunate to have a knowledgeable team of smart professionals who have the skills and creativity to help a practice like Raleigh Medical Group win an award dominated by hospitals and health care systems with significantly larger footprints and marketing budgets,” Hackney said in the release.
