Make-A-Wish Eastern N.C. Names Council

Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina has announced its inaugural Coastal Region Advisory Council, which includes 12 Wilmington residents.
 
The council is responsible for “raising awareness of the chapter’s mission, purpose and impact in New Hanover and surrounding counties through fundraising, volunteerism and outreach,” according to the organization's press release.
 
“We are honored to have the caliber of talent, dedication and character gathered for this inaugural council,” said Janis Netherland, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina Director of Philanthropy in the Wilmington area.  “They comprise a broad spectrum of community leaders who bring a high level of visibility and willingness to expand our reach along the coast.”
 
The council members are:
