Dr. Katlin Jameson recently joined Salling & Tate General Dentistry in Wilmington, according to a news release.

She is accepting new patients, along with the rest of the Salling & Tate team, and "hopes to focus on building long-lasting patient relationships," the release stated.

Jameson’s treatment philosophy "centers on providing individualized and compassionate care. Cornerstones of her practice focus on patient education and understanding what is important to each patient so that personalized treatment options can be offered that address their goals and help to achieve and maintain long-term oral health," according to the release.

Born in New Bern, Jameson received her bachelor's degree in biology from East Carolina University, graduating magna cum laude, the dental practice's website states. She continued her education at East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.

After receiving her dental degree, Jameson sought advanced training through a one-year residency program at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Salling & Tate General Dentistry is located at 2002 Eastwood Road, No. 105.
