March Of Dimes Announces New Board

The Southeastern Division of March of Dimes announced its 2015 board members last month in a news release.
 
The organization stated that the following people were named to the board: Nicole Aristy of Knox Clinic Pediatrics, Erik Bennington of Hutchens Law Firm, Robert DiGiuseppe of Coastal Carolina Neonatology, Stephanie Dunn of Live Oak Bank, Chiquta Harris of PPD, Tina McArtan of The River Room and Audio Visual People, Carine McConekey of Southeastern Foot & Ankle Associates, Emily Robinson of New Hanover Regional, Connie Ronner of SunTrust Bank, Morgan Scheibel of AllState Insurance, Tiffany Smith of Penderlea Elementary School, Keith Suttle of Intracoastal Realty, Kelly Toms of Kelly Toms Law and Christopher White of GE Hitachi.
 
Connie Ronner was named chairwoman;she has been a board member for eight years.
 
“As a business leader, serving as the chairwoman of the March of Dimes Board gives me a unique opportunity to support the belief that by affording every baby a strong start, we ultimately give our community a strong foundation to build their lives upon,” Ronner said in the release. “As the mother of a child who was born 10 weeks early, I truly understand the importance of the March of Dimes Mission to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.”
 
March of Dimes is a nationwide nonprofit organization that focuses on pregnancy and baby health and the prevention of birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
