Coldwell Banker Announces New Hirings And Promotions

Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage recently announced several personnel changes.

Denise Kinney was promoted to vice president and director of sales to help the firm manage its growth in markets from Jacksonville to the South Carolina line, according to a news release. Kinney will manage the brokers in charge, who are responsible for overseeing the firm’s 11 offices.

“Denise can create systems that help our agents work more effectively, which in turn, ensures that our buyers and sellers receive superior customer service,” president Tim Milam said in a statement. “In each of the four offices she has managed, she increased sales volume, agent recruiting, agent retention and agent production.”


Carol Averitte (right)has joined the real estate firm as managing broker at the firm’s Southport and Oak Island offices. She is now responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Southport and Oak Island offices, as well as agent recruiting, training and support, according to the release.

Averitte has more than 28 years of experience in real estate, including residential sales, relocation and property management, and served as a broker in charge at another firm.

Sales agent Jason Gruner (left)has been named exclusive sales and marketing agent for Hanover Reserve, a single-family residential neighborhood off of Gordon Road in the Murrayville area. Hanover Reserve is made up of more than 300 homes ranging in size from 2,300 to 3,900 square feet with prices ranging from the mid $200’s to $335,000.


Chris Royal (right) was named the broker in charge of the firm’s Leland office, after serving with the firm for four years. Royal will be responsible for the “day-to-day operations of the Leland office, as well as agent recruiting, training and support,” according to the release.
