Constance Knox

Owner,
Genealogy TV and NC Ancestry

Constance Knox helps genealogy enthusiasts with researching methods, finding records and getting organized so that they can share their family tree with family and future generations. For this, she works from home researching websites like Ancestry, Family Search, MyHeritage and many DNA websites.

“It’s how you use the search tools where the real strategies produce results,” she said.

Newspapers and magazines Knox reads include old newspapers for genealogical discoveries as well as Chronicling America, Newspapers.com, GenealogyBank.com and in local and state archives online and in-person.

Knox’s favorite podcasts include Cape Fear Unearthed, Online Marketing Made Easy with Amy Porterfield for building her business, The Genealogy Guys for industry updates and strategies, Work Less, Earn More for building her YouTube channel and online courses and Extreme Genes for pure fun and genealogy entertainment.

She enjoys watching CBS and NBC for the news and crime dramas and she is a big fan of Heartland on Netflix.

“I’m currently enjoying ‘The Great Wagon Road’ by Parke Rouse Jr. published in 1915. This book really gives a great sense of what life was like as people migrated from Philadelphia to the South.”

Find Knox on YouTube and Facebook at Genealogy TV and NC Ancestry and genealogytv.org and ncancestry.com.
