Startups In The Region Are Grant Semifinalists

Startups in Wilmington and Hampstead are among 25 semi-finalists of the NC IDEA SEED grant cycle, hoping to win $50,000 grants, according to news reports in March.

Semi-finalists were invited to submit a full proposal, with recipients expected to be announced in early May. The Durham-based NC IDEA is a private foundation that supports entrepreneurs.

The Wilmington semi-finalists are Sani Brands Inc. and StoolDuel Inc. and the Hampstead-based company is myBeeHyve.
