Two marketing professionals have joined the staff of marketing and design firm Sage Island, according to a recent release.

Lanette Jorgensen and Rachel Nell focus their efforts primarily on implementing social media, content marketing and search engine optimization strategies for clients, the release stated.

Jorgensen has done marketing for a variety of surf retail and other businesses in San Diego after graduating in 2009 from San Diego State University, the release stated.

“Lanette has since found her niche providing marketing strategy, social media, event planning and public relations for brands,” the release continued.

Nell (at left) earned a degree in communications from Robert Morris University in 2012 and has built experience in pay-per-click advertising, SEO and social media marketing at another agency, the release stated. At Sage Island, she concentrates on optimizing websites for search engines.
