Jessica and Jason White, owners of New York Corner Deli in Surf City, have opened New York Corner Pub at Castle Bay Country Club in Hampstead. The pub has replaced the club’s former restaurant, King’s Table.
To accommodate the White’s location requirements, Glen Imboden, real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Commercial SunCoast, negotiated a deal that allowed his clients to lease and assume full responsibility for the restaurant, bar and catering operations at the Castle Bay Country Club.
“We are very excited to welcome the New York Corner Pub to Castle Bay,” said Randy Blanton, president of Castle Bay Corp., in a news release. “Their food is excellent and the pub will be a great addition to our members’ overall experience, as they can now enjoy food and drink around the pool in addition to inside the restaurant.”
New York Corner Deli’s Surf City menu features breakfast served all day, hot and cold deli sandwiches and Italian subs such as chicken and eggplant Parmesan. Also featured are a variety of soups and salads, Brooklyn knishes, New York hot soft pretzels and Hebrew National hot dogs. New York Corner Pub’s menu offers appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps and burgers. And both locations feature homemade New York cheesecake.
“Our new restaurant will provide the same high level of quality food and customer service that we’re so well known for in our Surf City shop,” said co-owner Jessica White in the release. “But now we have even more to offer. At Castle Bay, we will be able to accommodate a variety of special events and will offer an extensive catering menu for functions of all sizes.”
New York Corner Pub at Castle Bay is open to members, golf patrons and the general public for lunch Tuesday through Sunday and for dinner on Friday and Saturday. Castle Bay Country Club is located at 107 Links Court in Hampstead.
