Second Annual Food Truck Frolic To Support Skatepark Effort

The second annual Food Truck Frolic, hosted by the Parks Conservancy of New Hanover County, will take place at Ogden Park Sunday, March 22 from noon to 5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Skatepark Project.

New Hanover County Parks and Gardens has partnered with Grindline Skateparks of Seattle, Washington to design a 10,000-12,000-square-foot concrete skatepark at Ogden Park. Construction is expected to being this summer and be completed by fall.

Participating food trucks are: Catch, Poor Piggy’s Barbecue, P.T.’s Grille, Trolly Stop, La Bell Airosa, Tasty Tees, Granny Niece Ice Cream and Vittles. Fermental and Noni Bacca Winery will be serving beer and wine and there will be live music from Boba Funk.

P.T.’s Grille will serve P.T.’s Olde Fashioned Burger, Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, a Black Bean and Chipotle Veggie Burger, Chicken Tenders, and P.T’s Hand-Cut Fries.

La Bell Airosa will serve authentic Mexican tacos with a choice of three meats garnished with cilantro, onions, cucumber, radish and lime. The menu will also feature sopes, a thick corn tortilla topped with a choice of meat, refried beans, shredded lettuce and queso fresco; as well as Tortas, a Mexican sandwich with a choice of meat, refried beans, mayo, lettuce, tomato, cheese and jalapeños. Quesadillas are also on the menu.

Ogden Park is located at 615 Odgen Park Drive in Wilmington.
