WRAR Elects New VP And Directors

The Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors has elected a new vice president and directors for 2010.

The new vice-president will be Ashley Garner from Intracoastal Realty and will serve as the association’s president in 2012. New three-year directors on the WRAR board will be Tom Gale of Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty and Mary Jo Miller of Century 21 Sweyer and Associates; Jody Wainio of Buyer’s Choice Realty will serve as a two-year director and Carlos Braxton of Braxton Realty will serve as a one-year director. The current president of WRAR is April McDavid of Intracoastal Realty.

WRAR also graduated their first class from The Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy was established in January to teach participants about leadership, communication and management skills. The first class included ten graduates.

Election results were announced at WRAR’s annual meeting which was held September 17.
